It’s been the worst kept secret around here, but it gives me enormous pleasure to announce officially today that Jen Draper has agreed to step up to the role of Managing Director at Work Networks, and as such overseeing and running the day to day management of the business (which tbh she’s been doing for some time, so this is overdue).

5 years ago we had the privilege of working with an amazing NHS team in Sheffield, rolling out continuous improvement programs and sharing across multiple NHS Trusts. Our client Jen was enabling all of this using Workplace from Meta, pushing the boundaries of what the platform was capable of in brilliant ways, and with insane levels of organisation, people skills and creativity.
We are always on the look out for brilliant, passionate people at Work Networks. Those that have that very rare gift of transcending traditional departmental skills, and bringing together people, processes and hard graft across comms, people teams, infosec, IT and more, focused on the bigger picture outcomes that (often siloed) organisations really need.
At the time Matthew Burgess and I quickly identified Jen as that Swiss army knife, and thought “wouldn’t Jen be the ideal hire”.
Well, happy days, Jen joined Work Networks back on May 4th 2021, and, the Force was most definitely with her, always. And we were absolutely correct.
We’ve been through a lot of change since Meta’s announcement in May 2024, and Jen has been pivotal in crystallising our new processes and ways of working, helping customers with due diligence in selecting platforms in a very confusing marketplace, and then migrating and launching with minimal effort and maximum efficiency, during times when let’s face it budgets and resources are tight, everywhere.
For anyone who has worked with Jen I’m sure they will agree that this is a massive win for Work Networks, and for our customers and partners, as we grow the business into the future, and do our bit to make the world that bit more connected, warmer, and pleasant to work in.
Please join me in congratulating Jen!
